European Heritage Days 2024
Visits and designer market
For the 41st edition of the European Heritage Days, Les Abattoirs, Musée - Frac Occitanie Toulouse will be hosting a designer's market to highlight local and ethical crafts, and offering guided tours of the classes and events.
On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September from 12 noon to 6pm, the public is invited to discover a selection of unique creations, ranging from jewellery to responsible, eco-friendly cosmetics and handmade decorative items. Each stand is an invitation to meet local designers and learn more about their environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes.
Creative workshops for young and old are also on offer, a unique opportunity to work on craft skills and leave with your own creation.
At 2.30pm and 4pm, Abattoirs guides will be offering a tour of the site, focusing on the architecture of the building, with its various functions and periods, and on the works of art on display in the courtyards and in the Raymond VI garden.
There will also be DJ sets and a foodtruck.
And there's good news for anyone who's curious or shopping addicts: admission is free on both days!
