As part of the Cycle "Le temps de Giacometti"
Echoing Alberto Giacometti's iconic work L'homme qui marche (1960), presented throughout the exhibition, the public will be treated to a performance based on the movement of walking.
"It's simply a walk that dances and a dance that walks."
"One Monday a month we walk to the dance studio at the Centre Culturel Saint Cyprien. We set off from home, from work, or from the Purpan hospital where we are being treated.
For two hours, led by Nathalie Ancé and Marie Charras, we take part in a workshop. This laboratory, where we experiment with movement together, begins with a walk. Gradually, the steps we take every day lead us towards danced movement. Our steps cross, join and respond to each other. In this way we improvise and meet each other."
"It's simply a walk that dances and a dance that walks".
This dedicated time on Thursday 18 January will be an opportunity to question, share and pass on this experience.
