Special loans from Judit Reigl
Judit Reigl, a recent winner of the AWARE Award, has developed a singular artistic path between abstraction and figuration between surrealism and method since the 1950s when she was spotted in Paris by André Breton after her flight from Hungary. Her work, conceived in series, knew to embrace great moments of the history of the art (surrealism, abstraction gestuelle, representation of the 11 of September) while remaining faithful to his personal commitment.
Judit Reigl, récente lauréate du Prix AWARE, a développé depuis les années 1950 où elle est repérée à Paris par André Breton après sa fuite de Hongrie, un chemin artistique singulier, entre abstraction et figuration, entre surréalisme et méthode. Son œuvre, conçue en séries, a su embrasser de grands moments de l’histoire de l’art (surréalisme, abstraction gestuelle, représentation du 11 septembre) tout en restant fidèle à son engagement personnel.
